Sukachove is a hydrological reserve with an area of 214 hectares located west of the village of Rozivka in Korosten Raion, within the Ushomyr Forestry. It has been protected since 1982.
What is protected here
The reserve preserves a lowland moss-sphagnum bog with sedges and grasses, along with the surrounding waterlogged forest. Valuable and rare plants grow here: Siberian irises — wild irises with blue-purple flowers, water avens, and spotted dead-nettle.

When to visit
Siberian irises bloom in late May and June, which is when the bog is at its most beautiful. Do not pick the flowers: the plant is protected. Do not step onto the bog, observe it from the edge, and bring protection against mosquitoes and ticks.
How to get there
Rozivka is located in Korosten Raion, and the reserve belongs to the Ushomyr Forestry, so the trip can be conveniently combined with a visit to Ushomyr. Nearby are the Volosne and Shchabel reserves. Read more in the article about Korosten Raion.
